about me

One day one of my friends asked me what the black stuff on my hands was and I my response was, “I dunno, it’s either mascara or motor oil”. I thought that seemed like me in a nutshell: a country-raised tomboy with a closet full of pretty vintage dresses.

In the small amount of spare time I have, I love to sew (and if I get to watch Project Runway while I do it, that’s the total jackpot) and go on adventures with my boy and our dogs.

I also own a funky little vintage store with two incredible women in called Chicken Lays An Egg, and it’s the best thing I’ve ever gotten the opportunity to do. We specialize in unique, classic and just plain weird items from the past (and a few from the present). Come check us out if you’re ever in Cincinnati!

Have as much fun as possible, be as genuine as you can, and don’t take yourself too seriously!!
