That’s right ladies and gents, for one day I am not wearing a scarf of any kind! I was glad to finally get to wear all of these pieces, especially since somehow have never worn any of them except the shoes. Now that I have such a massive closet that happens from time to time. The skirt was originally a gross old lady maxi skirt, but I love the color (and pockets!) so I brought it home and hemmed it, and the mustache necklace was made completely by me!

Seriously though, does anyone remember Sam & Libby shoes? I had a bunch of little bow flats like this in different colors when I was a kid and I loved them! I freaked when I found these at a thrift store.

Um, yes, Sam and Libby was the beginning of my love affair with flats!! How did you make the mustache necklace? That deserves a DIY post for sure.
Seriously, they’re sooo comfy! The mustache is just two layers of the stiff black felt sewn together on a chain. I may have to add some sort of weight to it though so it lays right. Thanks lady!!
First of all, I love your hair style on you. It looks great with anything that you wear. Second, the shoes you are wearing would be something that I’d wear.

I’m extra impressed by the fact that you hemmed your own skirt (I can’t sew a straight stitch to save my life), and envious of your Sam & Libbys, which bring back memories of pink/aqua/black leather bows and summer days spent eating Jolly Ranchers by the pool.
I just found your blog through Kansas Couture, and as I’m scrolling and reading about you I’m loving it more and more… then I see this post with Sam and Libby’s and I’m head-over-heels!
