Since I got so many awesome skirts in Nashville, it hasn’t been too hard for me to put together some pretty decent combos. However, I realize that I’ve been building outfits around one piece a little too completely, such as this outfit. It’s the lazy thing that I am tempted to do constantly. Don’t get me wrong, I really like the simplicity of it in a way, but I want to branch out more and challenge myself.
The bummer about this outfit was that the t-shirt I chose kept stretching out more and more, so by the end of the day my sleeves were down past the end of my hands! (Hence the hands in pockets pose.)
WHAT: silver bourbon necklace, made by me!
dark green t, thrift
anchor belt, chicken lays an egg
plaid skirt (altered by me), lion’s thrift (nashville)
gray tights, tj maxx
red boots, thrift
WHERE: work and playing in the slightly warm weather
WHEN: tuesday, march 2

I love your use of red and green in a non-Christmas-y way!
